I realized today,
As I walked through the rain,
That I didn't know myself anymore,
And I didn't know why.

I realized today,
Although it was warm,
That my heart was cold,
And it scared me to feel it.

I realized today,
As I fell asleep,
That your scent lingered on the sheets,
And I wanted you here.

I realized today,
Finally, after so long,
That I'm in love with you,
And my heart rejoiced to know.
