I watch the rain outside,
As I sit in seclusion,
Lost in my thoughts,
Trying to ignore this delusion.

The class is finally over,
But I'm still there,
Wishing with every bit of my heart,
That this wasn't so hard to bear.

My friends look for me,
They ask me what's gone wrong,
I don't want to worry them,
And I smile like nothing's gone.

They talk to me,
But I don't hear,
I only want to listen,
When it's your voice in my ear.

I wish being apart,
Didn't hurt like this,
But it does, I can't change that,
It's you that I miss.

No one else understands,
No one else wipes the tears,
What can they know,
About my insecure fears?

Your touch silences doubt,
Your voice keeps me strong,
It's true that I love you,
But your absence is so long...
