Story of Dark Marth, chapter 2

PART 5: THE RISE OF FIRE

Ike reached the base of a very tall mountain. he had traveled a whole day but was still far from the top."Ugh..im so tired, what could dark marth be up to? I suppose it will be worth it when im done..." Ike sat down on the back of a stone. He looked to the right and saw the opening to the cave inside. To reach the top he could take the easier longer way, or the shorter more dangerous way. Climb it. " I suppose, he never gave me a time." Ike smiled and laid back. " so i can take the long way to spare myself some trouble." Ike after a few moments of resting, got up and turned to the cave. "i better get going...its going to be a long walk." Ike started into the cave. Stalagmites and stalagtites hung from the celing and jetted from the floor. To the side was a worn set of stairs, crumbling away but otherwise in usable condition. Ike walked up to the spiral of stairs, and took his first step on getting to the top. He continued along the stairs for minutes and minutes...untill he finally began to see some light at the top. "There it is, the light! i must be getting there, only a little more steps left." Ike ran up to the top where the light from the sky greeted him. Ike immediantly fell to the ground. "My legs! i can hardly move! I just need to get up and get in the chamber of..of..." Ike fell sullenly silent. "I...I forgot his name! without knowing that beast's name i could be attacked, if he takes it as a offense! ... er i have a uneasy feeling now...the mighty schorchino will be terribly displeased...Wait! Scorchino! Scorchino Scorchino scorchino! i have to remember that!" Ike fastly jumped up and retreived his sword. he searched his pocket for the jem of scorched darkness, and walked into the cave. Lava was poring from the walls, but strangeley did not leave the the cave..in the beginning it was perfectly evened in the middle. " Dark Marth said with the stone i will not be hurt by lava...lets just hope its true." Ike walked into a area where the lava was all across the ground. he felt no pain, and did not get burned in anyway. He walked and walked untill he found it. A massive pile of stones came from the ground and formed a ring. in the middle was a deep pool of magma. " Great Scorchino! I give you the gem of Scorched darkness and ask of you to Arrise and Destroy Marth, under the command of Dark Marth!" Ike tossed the stone into the lava. The lava stood still. ... ... ... ... ... ... "Gwoooaa..." A small roar echoed from the cave. it came from the Lava! it began to ripple, and wave, and then began to splash out from the ring of stone! "Ahh!" Ike made a small yelp and jumped back, but was still safe from the lava. The stones powers still worked. "Very well done, my young helper. I am impressed...you actually summoned lord Scorchino." Ike turned in surprise at the voice talking to him. "well, arnt you going to answer me?! or just stand there looking?! move! i must complete this so we can begin our chase in order to destroy Marth!"
