Dr. Mario- Nintendo 64

INTRODUCTION
Dr. Mario has opened so many new things for Nintendo. Starting off with his first game all the wat up to Super smash Bros. Melee and a virtual game for the Wii. Now heres the first part of my review which is gameplay.

Gameplay

Starting out as one of the first Mario games for the Nintendo 64 (N64), Dr. Mario has been a great puzzle game.The game is split up into 5 modes which are "Classic mode", "Story Mode", "Marathon Mode", "Flash Mode" and "Score Attack Mode".In story mode you can be either Dr. Mario or Wario. As the story takes place, Dr. Mario or Wario go around trying to get back the megavitamins that have been stolen. In classic mode is somewhat set up to earlier Dr. Mario games and somewhat. In marathon mode you play a regular tetris game versing viruses, but it's never ending until you finally fail/lose. In flash mode you must consist of versing flashing viruses. And in Score Attack Mode is where you get 3 minutes to clear all of the viruses as well as getting the high score.

Their are 3 different colors of viruses.They are red, blue, and yellow. Red is fever, blue is chill, and yellow is weird. Also, for each pill virus their are 6 different types like red-red, red-yellow, red-blue, blue-red, blue-blue, blue-yellow, yellow-blue, yellow-yellow, yellow-red.

Dr. Mario is as well a very fun pill styled tetris game to see who can win or of course connect the same color or go through story or just about anything fun to do with tetris.

Graphics
I actually thought Dr. Mario had pretty good graphics; especially for the N64.Of course you won't see every single detail because of that point and time, but the game has great grphics. Great for its time and even great now.

Music/Sound

Dr. Mario has pretty good sound/music. It is practically all of the songs from the original Dr. Mario such as Chill and Fever plus 2 new songs which are called Que Que and Cube.Their are background music and screen music, the background music is for every mode.

Replay Value

Dr. Mario has excellent replay value. You can beat the game and still have more fun than even before beating the game. Such as the better you get the easier it will be to complete each level so you can beat any mode easier and unlock secrets such as if you beat the final boss on medium or hard which is Rudy with Wario or Vampire Wario with no continuations in the whole type of story mode. Plus, the better you get the more fun it can get to even beat your friends. This game has amazing replay features.

Conclusion
Well overall I think that Dr. Mario is one of the best puzzle games for the N64. W

When I was 5 years old and I started playing it I thought Dr. Mario was one of the best games ever An awesome story and gameplay, great graphics, good music/sound, and excellent replay value Dr. Mario is a great game that I suggest to get for the N64 and the Wii for Virtual Console.
