well here are the main reasons why people don't like him:
-He is a clone
-His look doesn't fit the advanceness of the game
-Just plain doesn't like zelda characters...

i saw a gameplay vid of him, he is pretty good. you just need time to master him. i wouldnt judge before you play him...

Yeah it's lame that there are so many clones. The game could have been out so much sooner if they didn't add all the pointless characters. I wouldn't consider Luigi a clone. They should have made the final smashed COMPLETELY different for each character. THREE Landmasters! what is that? really...
