Why did they make characters SOO easy to get... - The Global Nintendo Wi-Fi Community

I got the game at midnight and ended up playing all night and most of Sunday... I got the 10 hours played trophy already to say the least. I beat the Emissary mode with 95% complete so far.. got every character along with the "hidden" Jiggypuff and StarWolf without looking at hints. Toon Link and Marth were my first two just from doing classic mode. And thats It?!!? nothing was a challenge. I remember the first SB on 64 being a pain to get Ness... at least you had to work for it. Brawl just gave them all away waay to easily haha, but the trophies.. and the stickers... yea i still have a waaays to go. I know ill be working another month or so gettign Everything.. but I wish they hadn't given the characters away so easily.

Question....It says you are supposed to beat classic with link to get toon link....do you have to beat it on intense or what??

You use any diffculty to get Toon Link by using Link in classic. There is a hard to get character as you know if you don't use VS mode several times. His name is Ganondorf. He has a bit of a challenge.

I wish I knew why all the character were so easy to get. It was a huge let down for me because I like the challenge of unlocking all the characters.

I beat the SE and unlocked all characters except Jigglypuff and Toon Link. I cleared 20 event matches and unlocked Jigglypuff and the event matches are a joke. I beat classic on normal with Samus and unlocked Toon Link, again simple. The characters take no skill to unlock and it was very disappointing for me =(

well yeah i think this is waaay too easy.

I hope you guys enjoy it being easy, because it is quite difficult for me....at least i've only been playing the SSB franchise for 2 days...

any difficulty? i did easy and i didn't to fight toon link. and that was after i did hard to get gannon >.< is there a time limit u have to finish before it runs out?

I don't have the game yet as you see on one of my posts here. So I cheak on gamespot.com. I didn't see anything on diffculty on getting Toon Link. I'll cheak again to make sure. *Goes cheaks*

It doesn't say anything of diffculty. A FAQ says something different.

well im not doing subspace so i can unlock the characters in fun ways.
so far ive unlocked 6.
