Hey all, I spent most of my day today watching the draft, and I was wondering what everybody thought? How'd your team do (if you have one).

My team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and I'm EXTREMELY upset with the first round pick but I think we got a great pick with our 2nd round pick. (Linus Sweed from Texas, an amazing 6'4" WR).

The biggest winner was DEFINATELY the Chiefs. They got all they needed in three picks, and they made great selections with each one.

What are your thoughts?

The draft is really overrated, if you want your team to be good now, then Free Agency and trading is the way to go. And although we do not have a pick until the 4th round, my Browns are set to take over the AFC away from the evil Patriots and Squeelers and the cheating Colts (although the cheating tag goes to the Pats as well). I only wish they would have traded Derek Anderson...he is a bum, it's Brady Quinn's time now.

As for the draft, this has got to be the worst one I can remember in a long time. There is no "sure fire" superstars in this draft, some will be great but you know it is not like the last couple of years where you had Vince Young, Brady Quinn, Adrian Peterson, Matt Leinhart, Reggie Bush, etc. Thank God they did shorten the first round to 10 minutes though.

Very true. I was kinda disappointed that 15 of the picks in the first round were lineman. Its like *Yawn*. Oh well, and yea, right now the steelers are playin for the wildcard. Cleveland has the division won right now by about 4 games.

ur right the steelers first chose was gay( arunning back wtf? they have willie parker even though he is a bum)(i am from pittsubrugh so the steelrs are in my top 10 teams). and i was gonna make a thread like this two btw. but the steelers should of got was either an o line men to make up for fanicia lost or a d end. but there 2nd pick was good imo. but how does jake long get picked number 1! what is up with that
