Favorite Author?

What is your favorite author? Obviously this is for people who read.

Mine Is R. L. Stine. A great author all around. I've read most of his horror books (Goosebumps, Ghosts of Fear Street, Fear Street, Mostly Ghostly, and non-series books).

I'd have to say Anthony Horowitz is right up there. His books are short but absolutely awesome. I would also mention Margaret Weiss/Tracy Hickman (Dragonlance series). Oh I almost forgot Brian Jacques (Redwall series). I read each of them at a different point in my life, so I can't judge them against eachother.

I really have two, Michael Shaara who wrote the Pulitzer Prize winning historical novel "The Killer Angels" and the baseball novel "For Love of the Game". I also love his son's work, Jeff Shaara who continued his father's work with the prequel and sequel to "The Killer Angels" as well as other historical novels from America's wars.

I love "For the love of the game" But I've only watched the movie. Great movie though.

Well, like in most situations, the book is much better. Certainly check it out Duke.

Right now I'm loving Douglas Adams.

But I also love Orson Scott Card, Tolkien, and Jonathan Safron Foer.
