Ghost Squad Review

Introduction
Does anyone here on WU remember the good ol' days when they had Ghost Squad in the town arcade.Well I sure don't, but as a lot of us know, Ghost Squad has started out as an arcade game in 2004. Lets just put it at this. Have you ever seen the president give out a high five, and have you ever see a panda shooting. Well Ghost Squad is that kinda game. Of course today I will start out with the gameplay part of this review.

Gameplay
Ghost Squad for the Wii has some great gameplay. Ok, the story of Ghost squad is that as being a part of GHOST (Global Humanitarian Operation and Special Tactics), created by the UN, is to correct the world with their wrongs (so to say) in some sort of professional matter.Ghost Squad features modes like arcade, paradise, ninja, and practice mode.

In arcade mode you can do missions. these missions entering situations with determination, stealth and a whole lot more.Ghost Squad includes the wiimote and nunchuck (of course) which allows players to target on screen enemies, defuse bombs, and rescue hostages. Their are 3 big missions in Ghost Squad. In the first one you are attacking an international mountain fancy place where a terrorist organization called Indigo Wolves who are holding the world leaders hostages (which of course probably will never happen, but who knows). In mission numero Dos you're on Air Force One and those same darn terrorists who never seem to give up, try to kidnap the President. Of course your objective is to save Mr/ President and you should succeed. Thats when I think the President gives you that high five.In mission 3, which is the last and final mission, you once again have to infiltrait the Indigo Wolves base, except this time you infiltrait their jungle base to rescue either Dr.Steve Mccoy or Mr. Steve Mccoy ( I know ironic). It depends on who you talked to earlier. The last drastic ending of arcade mode is when you make a huge river escape in your final task to save the Mccoy person and get him back home safely. Overall this mode is great but short.

Ok, we will now start with Paractice mode and then Party mode.Party mode is broken up into 2 parts called Ninja mode and Paradise mode.Ok, In practice mode, you can practice your skills and get better and better and even learn some new moves on the way. Now in Ninja mode you are a ninja (which sounds awkward but cool) and instead of shooting bullets you throw/shoot shuriken. Now last but not least, definitely one of the funniest modes I've ever played, Paradise mode.In paradise mode you can fight terrorists who are mostly girls that are wearing bakinis. And get a hold of this, the girls where bikinis and they shoot/throw bannanas.lol

You can also use the Wii Zapper in this game. In my opinion, this makes the game 10 times more fun.
Gameplay:4/5

Graphics
Ghost Squad has some pretty good graphics. Sega did a pretty decent job with the graphics. Pretty detailed and great color usage. Especially the people with their equipment and guns that they use (which some are pistols, rifles, missiles, and more). Also the background and places where you play at have oretty great graphics too.
Graphics:3/5

Music/Sound
The music/sound in this game is alright. But the thing about the sound that really amazes me is the dialogue of the characters. It awesome, like , you could call it a second language voice character. But besides that the music /sound is pretty flat and not really much else to it.
Music/Sound:3/5

Replay Value
The replay value, in Ghost Squad in my opinion is awesome. Ghost Squad has wifi but its not really anything, its just likes Mario and Sonic: At the Olympic Games, its just a leaderboard kinda. That featured kinda dissapointed me, but otherwise than that the game had clearly some awesome replay value. The biggest part of replay value is Party mode with the ninjas and the bikini babes, and Practice mode with the skiils challengement, but arcade mode is also fun to do again. Usually for the first time, if you go through just the basic part, story mode only takes about 20 minutes if you know what you're doing, but it is fun to do it again, because their is a lot of different features and paths in arcade mode. Their are various secrets on each mission, and its always fun to explore.
Replay value:5/5

Conclusion
Starting out in your local arcade all the way to your Nintendo Wii. This and many other games has come a long way.Sega has come a long way making all these new projects and products and at least half are succesful. With awesome gameplay, great graphics, pretty good music/sound, and amazing replay value Ghost Squad is a very good shooting game that I suggest getting. (I need it myself ,lol, I've just played Ghost Squad a little bit at different friends house, but I'm also gonan get this game.)
overall:4/5

Yeah I agree the co-op is much better. When nhdog and I play we kick major butt.

By the way nhdog, about the wi-fi, it's not 4 players and you don't actually play on wi-fi you just post your scores on there
