Well, it came to me today that the site banner and the Menu Bar are not actually GIF or transparent PNG. They are simple JPEG, and thus cause a few problems.

1. I was using a brand new computer with Vista and a good gfx card, and the website was unable to parse in BOTH IE and Firefox. The site ran fine, but the header looked in significantly lower-than-png quality. It looked like something out of paint.

2. I tried a few others, and for some reason, it was always low quality. Why is that? It's normal at home...but..

3. In the User CP, if the top header and menu bar was actually transparent, it would keep a more professional look on EVERYONE'S user page. It would make things neater and more presentable.

This is only a suggestion, but if the top header of the WiiUsers community and the Logo be changed to transparent. Seeing as how WU has a white background, nobody would know any difference - except in the USER PROFILE. But, it would look much better.

Anyway, just a thought! ^^ We want to get big and professional right? This would be something that can help achieve that good look.

At one point I did make the image transparent, but the problem is I can only save it as a .psd file. I was also going to give it to tem in .psd format (transparency included) but for some reason, the place where I uploaded it rejected the file.

Wow, I just realized it was JPEG also. I also agree with WY that it should be changed as it would work with everyone's user profile and would give a more professional feel.
EDIT: Kiba if you would like I will change it for you.
EDIT2: I just need you to send me the PSD over with the Transparency already done, as the Magic Wand Tool does not work very well in this situation.

Also Kiba, I am talking about the menu bar with the USER CP and FORUM and PORTAL buttons and such. That is also a JPEG, and is non-transparent. However, being an administrator on another site with the same hardware, I know you are unable to change the appearance of the skin - unless given special permission set by the Owner account. Anyway, if Mikus gave you this permission when you were Admin'd, then perhaps you can do that for us too!

I'm not too sure if Mikus gave me the permissions quite yet. I haven't explored everything yet.
