I have a question on how you becom a forum Mod, Any help?

Well the first step is to NOT ask to become a moderator. It can get very annoying when people ask all the time. Second, you have to show that you are a responsible person and can do the jobs that is asked of you. This includes making quality posts and threads. Posting "wtf that game is the l33t, lol" will not cut it. Third, it helps to help out other members and to be friendly with all members. That is about all I can think of right now, the other mods and admins can probably fill in more as well.

Well one thing you don't want to do is ask to be one, that is the first thing.

Many people make that mistake, and usually don't get the position they strive for, and thats the most immportant no-no.

Also, you must be active, have decent post count, and have good social and typing skills.

I am certain you also should have a good feel to the site, otherwise not knowing what to moderate can become a hard task.

Lol someone already did, just pointing that out because you said basically the exact same thing there as Jules, just somewhat worded differently..

Good grammar and spelling are also very good.

Like Jules said, "wtf i r b leet at brawl and i pwnz all u nubs kthnxbai" would not be good.

Grammar and spelling are something you should want and use.

yeah and i've been doing this the longest. <_<
It doesn't seem to work.

I can put a check for everything on that list INCLUDING asking for moderator. And you can see I am not one. I've seen new admins and new mods come and go that have only been members for less than a month. It really frustrates me.

To sum it up, if you know the rules of the site, have good grammar and spelling, and seem like a good person who is nice to everybody, you have a better chance of being a Mod.
People who "PWN TEH NUBZ AT TEH BRAWL GAME FOR TEH WII SYZTEM LOL ZOMG" usually don't become Mods.
And Pokeemanz, I feel your pain I've been here almost as long as you (not quite), and have no awards.

coolz, i remember i had a staff spot once, but gave it up cause i was grounded and had ffxi. thar was a mistake lol.
