Can we get rid of FlashChat and get Java Chat?

Java chat is much better, and FlashChat lags a lot for me. And I'm more comfortable with the Java chat commands.

I think someone suggested this in Xane's suggestion thread awhile ago, but nothing has happened.

Anyone else agree?

Well seeing that this has been an issue and many members have thought the same thing, I wouldn't see why there wouldn't be a change in chat programs in the next couple of weeks.

The Flash Chat is not bad, but I noticed that if you get over a certain amount of members in one room, it starts to lag and has a terrible respond time, and Java really has been updated recently to not have these problems.

Personally I am up for the change, but we will have to see what an Site/Forum Administrator has to say before anything is done.

I never used java chat before, but I noticed flash chat can be very uresponsive so why not change?

Yeah, I lot of people don't like the chat. So I also wouldn't be surprised to get it changed to Java or maybe even Xat even though you can change your name on Xat. I would suggest java more.=D

But Wiiusers is in Beta so who knows, possibly the chat will get changed.

You can change your name in almost any chat, including Java. Unless I put +N command on the room. ;D

Oh,ok. I haven't used java before. Just seen it a couple of times. I'll look it up a little more.=D

Yeah, the chat right now is kinda funky. I would prefer something else.

I think the chat should be removed all together.. Not many people use it as they did back when you could see, who was on there on the main page. So I'd just say kill chat all together.

Lot's of people still use it.

No, Jeffy. We should keep chat.

Because it's getting more active. The other day I go 15 people in their. Then the next da I got like 12 people. Now people show up when I don't ask em to join chat.

So chat is getting more active and active by the more members that Wiiusers are getting.

So we definitely should not delete chat. We should keep it. Maybe change it to java or something. But altogether keep chat. =D
