Okay, I know there are TWO threads for Rep, but there is one thing I do NOT get, I have THREE positive REP points, and one Negative one, should I have Two REP points???? Or am I just confused?
Edit: says I have 13 point(s) total.

it takes either 50 or 100 rep to get a new bar of it.

i have 311 points, and i have 3 extra bars. see what i mean?

You start with 10 rep. Depending on the rep, of the user giving you rep it will decrease or stay the same when giving negative rep. So you gaining the 3 positive rep gave you one point each. Then who ever gave you the negative rep's rep wasn't high enough to matter towards the negative.

I had that same question too, lol. But for a different forum. What if you get a grey rep? What's that supposed to mean?

To add to what Jeffy has said, the more reputation a user has, the more reputation you will receive from that person.

for example, let's say someone has 6 bars of rep, and you have only one, in this case when the person with six bars gives you rep you will receive far more rep than anyone else due to the higher rep the person had while giving it to you.

Grey Reputation is when you get reputation from someone whos points do not count because they have either disabled reputation themselves, are a guest, or have such a low reputation that they are not able to give points.
