I had completely forgotten about this story until I was cleaning out my documents on my computer. It is a story based on the video for SSBB of Pit's introduction to the SSE. I really liked the video and for some reason wrote a short story about it based on how I felt Pit was thinking, so here it is, please be easy on me.


In a temple far above in the clouds, unknown to most people, a sole protector watches everything. There, a single angel watches a magical fountain, a fountain that shows him the state of the world. He has been alone, watching that fountain for nearly 16 years. Despite the amount of time he has invested watching non-stop by the fountain, he still looks like a young teenager.

‘Sigh, it has been so long since I have fought or helped anyone. Everyone has probably forgotten about me.’

Just then something catches the angel’s eyes. A large stadium engulfed by a purple orb. The stadium, he knew contained some of his past allies and was expanding quickly.

‘What is that? What has happened to Mario, Kirby, Zelda, and Peach?’

Just then a bright light flares up from behind and the angel suddenly turns around. He watches as the brilliant light forms into the beautiful Palutena, the Goddess of Light and with whom the angel keeps safe.

He quickly rushes over to here, ecstatic for it is the first time he has seen here in over a decade and quickly goes to one knee before her and lowers her head. Silently, she creates a bow out of thin air and floats it to the angel who accepts with a nod. Finally she speaks in a voice that would make the sirens jealous

“Your time has come again, to protect this land and to assist your allies. Go my angel. Go Pit”.

Pit looks up and smiles and quickly runs away with a quick turnaround to wave goodbye as he climbs a set of stars that seem to lead to nowhere.

When he reaches the top he turns around, stretches his arms, and closes his eyes. Slowly a yellow light from behind opens up until it is wide enough for the angel. His wings flap and suddenly he falls backwards and descends from the heavens.

As he falls he slowly turns around and begins to glide down to the world. He allows the wind to guide him as he glides. With bow in hand, he gives a small smirk and utters.

“I am back”.

Great story. It is practically just what happened in SSBB.Poor Kirby,Peach,Mario, and Zelda.

That was a amazing story man Supper cool since im a pit fan I like it alote.
So its almost like the same thing that happens in subspace emissarie.
Bravo u should get an award for that short story man:cool:
