Snake isn't Nintendo. He's Konami. But I guess you could say Snake because he's been in several Nintendo games...I'm just saying Nintendo doesn't own Snake as a character.
Mewtwo and Lucario I guess are my favorites...I can't say I like any Nintendo character...None of their games have a decent amount of character development...which means I can only like a character based on their appearance and maybe what they stand for. Mario for example...only has his origins in really old comics and tv shows...in his games...no one can tell why he's a plumber...why Princess Peach is a lonely occupant of a huge kingdom. I think Mario Bros. 3 had something to do with it...but I'm not sure. Sure in Mario World 2 it shows how he came to be, but I don't know...there are too many gaps. Ones that are rarely or are vaguely filled, and it's like that for most characters. People have to fill in the blanks or Nintendo has to announce it in some way.
Now I'm sure there are some answers to those things I just said...but I'm just using Mario as a general outlook of the Nintendo gang. These are some of the reasons why I don't enjoy Nintendo's games as much as I do any other game. Their games are all about the mission...and the character you play is just the tool to fulfill it. It doesn't matter if you're Link, Samus, or Mario...they never change or develop...I think Samus might be the most dynamic character out there...
Okay I typed too much for such a simple thread...and I tend to do that. My favorites are Mewtwo and Lucario...they are bad ass...have a background...TALK...and are pretty much feared for their power.
