Anyway, about your criticism, which I'm glad you added:
Yes, the text may have been difficult to see, but please keep in mind that this is a very small icon, the first one I have made this small, and am still trying to use different effects to see how they work.
As the icons come along, I will be learning effects and how they look on a small icon, and they will gradually improve.
