No I don't think he should've been in Super Smash Bros. Melee to start out with.He's ok, but it's like putting ho-oh as a character.(that would be cool)lol.It's like putting any pokemon as a character.If they put mewtwo in SSBB it would be useless anyway because their is already a pokmon trainer in the game.
I think they should've kept Mewtwo. He was AWSOME!!!! & Lucario is AWSOME, too!!!!! I would love to battle Lucario as Mewtwo or vica versa. In Melee I can kill anyone with Mewtwo.
Go to that link and tell me where mewtwo is. That's right on the bottom, does that make sense? Mewtwo can destroy things with his mind! The most mewtwo should have been was a pokeball, or an assist trophy if he hated being a pokeball so much. Plus in melee he was rock bottom BAD, when he gets his arse handed to him by pichu and jigglypuff(and if I have to remind you again, he could blow up with his mind!).
