i choose neither, as "freedom" is something people easily abuse and corrupt. then people take "safety" and turn it in to "enprisonment" and "control" which it's not.
i hate stuff like this. either way you show an extreme downside that causes pain and hurt to the chooser since they can only have one and not the other. yet, we as human beings have shown that a person can be both free and safe without having to choose which one they cannot have.
