I just bought a 2000 Wii points card this week and I already got the internet channel, which I gotta say is the filthiest channel outta all the Wii channels.

But I don't really know if I should get any virtual consul games or save up for a new Wii channel. Or if it IS worth it to get a virtual consul game then what should I get?

Just thought I'd get some good advice here, asuming you guys have pretty good knowledge of the Wii .

Well if you have a Classic Controller or Gamecube controller, I STRONGLY suggest getting Super Mario 64 (N64) or Super Mario World (SNES), if you don't own them. Mario 64 is in my top 5 favourite games of all time.
If you don't have those controllers, try Super Mario Bros (NES) or Super Mario Bros 3 (NES), those are my 2 favourite games of all time.
It may seem weird just suggesting Mario, but his platformers are hands down the best on the VC, IMO.
Zelda Ocarina of Time (N64) and Kirby's Adventure (NES) are also great.

There was that DS Download one..but it should of been out by now....

There's an 'Everybody's Nintendo' Channel that download demos of DS games to your DS coming one day, hopefully.... but I don't know if it'll ever make it here.

Yes, channels on Wiiware will be arriving in May, the 18th I believe. Save your points, that will be an awesome addition to the Wii Shop Channel!

I agree with KirbyPunk that if you have a classic controller get Super Mario 64, Super Mario World, and I'd like to suggest Donkey Kong Country. If you don't have a Classic controller get Super Mario Bros. for the NES

EDIT: or save up for a WiiWare game if there's one you are wanting
