Personally I think it would be a terrible idea, as much as I love Zelda and the games you have to remember one thing. Link has NEVER talked in the games and I believe there is a reason for that. Miyamoto created Link based on his own childhood, to him, he is Link's alter-ego. And they want to keep Link a cliche hero meaning that everyone can somehow relate to him. Giving him a voice, which they would have to in a movie, would basically permanently stamp that voice to Link.

Not to mention there are very few, if ever, good video game movies. Case in point the Mario movie...I saw it when it came out, was the only one in the theater and at the end of the movie I knew why. Video games do not translate into good movies.

Also I just realized something, doesn't Link from the "movie" look an awful lot like that Grimma Wormtounge from Lord of the Rings (the one on the left):

Or maybe they wouldn't have Link talking throughout the whole movie, that would be a new concept for a movie the main character doesn't talk throughout.

One extra thing too, got to give to ign for this it looks like this trailer would have taken alot of work.
