IGN: Mario Super Sluggers Emerges

There isn't much info, but it is set for a japanese release of June 19 2008. I might get this, and I've heard it mentioned a lot on the forums. Hopefully they can pull this out and make it a great game!

Hmmm this could be very interesting. The only Mario sports game (besides Kart) that I have playing is Strikers and that was a pretty good game. Will certainly have to try this one out.

Mario Superstar Baseball for the gamecube was awsome so I hope this will be just as good. It would be cool to have big online tournaments. I liked the stats and star pitches/swings. I hope they keep that.

Just to let you know, ROB probably won't be in this game. It's probably just charicters from Mario games

Yea superstar baseball was a very nice game. Hopefully they wont change too many details about it. Online and wii remote functions would make it perfect.

I did like the Mario Baseball game for GC, but I hope they fix some of the problems in the game for the Wii.

I'm going to pick this up since I'm a huge baseball fan. They need to make story mode a little deeper, last time I could beat it in 45 minutes. I love the pre-assembled teams for the most part last time, except Donkey Kong's was the weakest I felt.
