The conversation with the male was over as far as he was concerned so he did his best to not worry about it. ".....Why don't you ask me who I am if you're so curious" Spoke the Half Elf male. He had a feeling She was watching him which is why he took no hesitation in replying. He turned his head a little ways so that the corner of his eyes gazed upon her. Oliver unfolded the letter. it said "Meet me in room 209." the letter was not signed. Oliver droped the letter and picked up his swords. his room was 105. Oliver stepped out of his room to see the inn was packed. Oliver went to the stairs and started walking up the stairs. after he got up the stairs. he saw room 209. he waited and put his pointy ear on the door. he didnt hear anything.

Her eyes snapped up and met the elf's. She studied his expression, and in the process noted the slight difference between the tapered ends of their ears. He was only a half elf. It relieved her.

"You are half elf, are you not?" she asked in her husky tone. She hoped he hadn't noticed that she was a girl. She wasn't used to conversing with strangers.

"...." He closed his eyes and did not respond for a time, it was his current nature after all "....Half Elf.....is that what I am?" He finally muttered. " ...Are you for certain?" It was clear that he couldn't even recognize his own race, a severe case of amnesia if you will. "And who might you be? To spy on a conversation such as ours earlier hmm?" His mind still full of questions about him and the area around him. It was something he could not help.*

How could he not know? Clarissa thought, puzzled. Being an elf was the pride of her race, even half elves had pride in their blood. But he was uncannily sharp, she knew that. She pulled the cloak closer around herself.

"You have the ears, and you are tall for a human, nor are you a dwarf. As for the conversation, I could not help over-hearing, although I have already dismissed it from my thoughts," she answered as she tried to keep her male tone from breaking.

" Hmm..A Half Elf....Interesting" He replied back only with a grin. " ....So I am apart of a noble race hmm? I find it odd how I cannot remember any of this...I don't even know how long I haven't known." He spoke in a puzzled tone.

" That is in the past now anyway.... I figure that man was just a drunk...claiming he knew who I was" He shook his head in disbelief. " ...May I ask for your name?"

She figured he was half drunk, or perhaps mad. How could he not know who or what he was? But she kept her composure and gave out her false name.

"Larson." He right arm tingled at the name and she stifled a shudder. "May I ask yours?"

The moon was full, and the wind roared fiercely through the thick woods. The wolves howled, praising the night. With no sense of direction, Zane walked quickly through the woods, hoping to find shelter or a safe location. He discovered a dirt road, he ran to it and stumbled across a beautiful building. Curiously, Zane approached it. By observing it closely, he believed it was an inn. He then entered without caution.

Zane entered and removed the hood, which revealed his face. His cloak hid his armor. He was like any other young human male. His hair was a reddish brown color, and part of his face is covered by his hair. Zane felt an aura around his blade, however, it was no ordinary blade. It had been hand-crafted from a Master Blacksmith, it was made of dragon scales and valuable iron. It was cursed, and he needed a priest to purify it. He ignored it, and headed to the bar carelessly.

Before the half-elf could answer, her attention was driven to two new customers. At a first look, she could see that at least one of them was human, although she felt a slight pulse of magic from him. Only a human, magic or no magic, he is still no threat, she thought inwardly. Her interest in the newcomers dissolved and she looked back to the half-elf.

"I'm sorry, excuse me," she said as she got up and moved to another table nearby. For some reason, at the moment she did not feel very social.
