I used to watch some anime like DBZ, DBZ GT, Dragon Ball, Rouroni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, and for just the very early episodes, One Piece.
I don't really get some of the newer animes. For example, Mar. I haven't actually watched an episode of it, but I've those ads for it on Adult Swim, and it looks extremely random.

Dragon Ball Z is extremely overrated, IMO. It takes them (literally) five episodes for a character to actually do something other than to see who can fly faster and disappear behind the other first.
Nevertheless, disregarding that, it's quite good.

Yeah I know. My mom saw me watching and I had to explain what Anime was. Basically she only thinks its a Japanese cartoon, despite what I said, and I was close to being banned from ever watching Anime again. >.<

For those of you who have not yet seen FLCL, I recommend you watch it. This is a really outrageous anime that will have you scratching your head. It is an OVA so there are only 6 twenty-minute episodes. I made a channel for it on Veoh. Here is the link if you are interested in a unique anime style.

One of my favorite anime is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann its a aswome epic anime im not much of a fan of naruto anymore it got borining i just read the magnas now

Do you watch the english version or do you download the japanese subtitled ones. I download the japanese manga and anime. They are both a lot better than their english counterparts. |

i was not a REALY big anime fan... i enjoyed DBZ untill repeats got 2 annoying
any way i watched the Tales of Symphonia anime.... that was something i enjoyed... it was all jap with eng sub titles.. but... it was an asome recreation of teh game... they chagned the tory a little bit.. but i enjoyed wtaching it for the time that i did.. ( i think ewach eisode was 45 min... 4 epi.. i 4get ^^ any way verry good and if u watn 2 watch in its Tales of symphonia OVA... goggle/youtube it and you should get it
u need 2 right:

toget them threw google. ( may need 2 dounload a movie watcher)
