Hey, has anyone heard that paper mario's newest franchise is coming for DS? I have. Before I fully quit friendcodes, it had said that paper mario was coming to the DS. Do any of you buy i? I sorta do... except for how the graphics will look like and how the gameplay will be.

That is so cool. I love the Paper Mario series. They were so much fun. I'm so going to get this if its not really Paper Mario 64 port. Because, this website here said thats its going to be that. If so, I will may still get it. Also, I think the graphics will be the same. Can't wait for this to come.

I really do hope that it comes to the DS as it is a great franchise and probably one of the funniest games out there today. However, I hope it is not a port of the original game (like Mario 64) but knowing Nintendo and their tendency to get as much money while doing very little new work, it will probably be a port.

I think it would be a port if it weren't for the VC. But now that the game is on the VC, I think if Nintendo were to make a Paper Mario DS, it wouldn't be a port.

Yeah but Super Mario 64 is on VC and a port for the DS as well. Remember that there are probably 3x more DS owners out there then Wii owners so it would just be another way for Nintendo to cash in on an existing game. Hell Final Fantasy III/VI has been ported 5 different times (6 if you count the one coming out on DS just with updated graphics)

Paper mario is a GREAT franchise and one of my favorites. It has some really funny parts in each game. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is one of my top favorite games of all time, and Super Paper Mario was a good game. I never owned the original Paper Mario for N64 but I could borrow it from my friend. A port wouldn't be a good idea because it is already out on the VC. yeah, but MK64DS was out before the Wii. But I see your point, and if Nintendo does make this game, and it's a port, I really hope they add extra stuff to it. Like another chapter or a Luigi side story.
