THE FATE OF NINTENDO

Pro-prologue: Nintendo in my future

PROLOGUE:

Yoshi was the head scientist of the yoshi village on yoshi's island; he is always working extremely hard since all of the other yoshi's just eat fruit all day. One day he was so stressed out from work that he left the village to go on a picnic with his lab partner, toad. Yoshi and the toad were happily eating fruit when they both heard giant explosion off in the distance. "What could that be" said toad. Yoshi replied that Mario must have eaten too many beans for breakfast again, don't worry about it. Yoshi and toad happily continued eating their fruit for the rest of the day.

BOOK 1: REVENGE

CHAPTER 1-1: The BOMB

As yoshi and toad finished eating, they decided to go back to yoshi village. As they neared the yoshi village, there was a weird feel in the air and a short time after that, they began to see hundreds of shy guys lying on the ground dead or hurt. Some shy guys were running away shouting “The end has come, the end has come”. Soon, as they reached the top of the hills surrounding yoshi village, they saw a giant mushroom cloud. When they saw this, they sprinted back to town to see what had happened but there was not town left.

Everything was destroyed, toad soon realized that the city must have been bombed. Yoshi kept asking himself “who could have done this? And why?” A while later yoshi started feeling sick and realized it was because of radiation. Toad and yoshi speedily ran away from the town and to yoshi’s lab in the outskirts of yoshi village and inside the giant volcano of yoshi’s island. On his way to his lab, yoshi saw dead yoshi’s everywhere, at that moment yoshi promised himself that he would avenge all of his fellow yoshi’s someday. He looked back at yoshi village and saw that it had gone up in flames.

I'm telling you guys now...this fan fic already has 28 chapters(maybe half way done)...I will post one or two chapters per day.
the chapters start off short and gradually gets longer
It is all about yoshi at the beginning but the whole story isn't about yoshi

CHAPTER 1-2: The Lab

Yoshi finally made it to the his laboratory and was greeted by a bunch of toads who worked at the lab. Yoshi and the toads were very concerned about Yoshi and toad but were relieved when they finally came back. Yoshi was a bit sick from radiation but the future medicine that was in the lab quickly healed him. The lab had the best medicine in town because Yoshi made it himself.

Yoshis lab had a lot of high tech stuff and it was extremely strong. It was the perfect building to withstand a bomb of cosmic proportions because it was inside a volcanic mountain. The lab also was radiation free because of the radiation tests done often at the lab. What started out as the perfect stress-free day for yoshi soon became a horrible nightmare.

All of the terror did not let yoshi sleep and in the middle of the night he began to hear noises. It was a strange thud sound. “Thud, thud, thud”, the terrible noise would not stop, “THUD, THUD, THUD” It seemed to be getting louder. Yoshi gathered all of his strength, got up out of bed and…..got a couple of toads to investigate the noise. The toads went downstairs, looked out the window and saw what it was. They reported back to yoshi that it was a fellow yoshi knocking on the door for help.

Yoshi immediately opened the door to the peculiar yoshi, it was orange. “Oh no,” said yoshi, “This yoshi must be terribly in pain and terribly ill, the radiation must have turned him orange.” Yoshi took him to the medical lab and treated hi with the best medicine they had; the pain seemed to have gone away, his temperature was normal and all of his scratches and burns were healed but the weird orange color did not leave. Yoshi decided to let the orange yoshi rest and see if anything happened over night.

CHAPTER 1-3: Investigation

The next morning when yoshi woke up, he went to check on the orange yoshi but it was no longer in the medical room. Yoshi thought that maybe it was all a dream but when he went to go eat breakfast the orange yoshi was right there. Yoshi immediately tackled the yoshi as fast and hard as he could. He warned everyone else to back away because the orange Yoshi could be carrying a deadly disease that turns you orange and maybe even kills you. “Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!” everyone was laughing. All of the toads and the orange yoshi explained to yoshi that the orange yoshi had always been orange ever since he was born. Yoshi was very sorry for tackling the other yoshi but he forgave him.

Right after Yoshi ate breakfast he began investigating who could have dropped the bomb. He and a couple of toads went back into the city that day with their anti-radiation suits; there were no yoshi’s left alive except for him and the orange yoshi. Everyone and everything was dead and destroyed. As yoshi ventured deeper into the wreckage of the city, one of the toads said that they found the bomb. Yoshi examined the bomb and realized that it was not just a normal bomb; this bomb had more power than 20,000,000 tons of regular yoshi egg bombs. It was a giant atomic mushroom bomb; the mushroom bomb obviously belonged to the mushroom kingdom because while on a business trip to the kingdom, a fellow scientist showed yoshi the bomb while they were still making it. The mushroom kingdom were the ones who bombed yoshi’s island. Using his sonar and satellite images of the time when the bomb struck, yoshi confirmed that the bomb was shot toward them straight from Princess’ Peach’s castle.

Yoshi continued his investigation all around the island and the radiation had already killed pretty much everything on the island: All of the shy guys, piranha plants, and every other person. Everything died except for the goombas. Yoshi examined the goombas carefully and figured out that they were immune to radiation. It amazed yoshi that goombas were so easily defeated but were immune to radiation. Yoshi now knew what he had to do!

CHAPTER 1-4: Forming an army

Yoshi, orange yoshi and the seven toads all put on anti-radiation suits and decided to form an army. They gathered up as many goombas as they could possibly find and made a gigantic army. There must have been at least 10 million goombas in the newly formed army. Orange yoshi was appointed to head army commander of all the goomba’s. After a week of training the orange yoshi decided that the goomba’s were hopeless and could not fight. They could not work together and they were extremely weak.

Thinking ahead yoshi had already made a special power up flower that only worked on goombas. But this power up did not work; it just deformed the goombas and made them even weaker. Yoshi kept on trying to create a great power up until he finally made a flower that made the goombas giant and gave them the ability to breathe fire. Y When the goomba’s touched the flower they grew 5 times their normal size and were able to breathe fire. But even though they had all this new power, the goombas were still extremely weak to a bop on the top of their heads and could be destroyed if someone jumped on them. After thinking for days and even weeks one of the toads finally came up with an idea, “make them wear a spiky helmet”. This was a brilliant idea; yoshi and the toads made all of the goomba’s helmets while the orange yoshi was training them.

The goombas were not the only one’s to get awesome powers; Yoshi also made a power-up for himself and orange yoshi. Using the power-up, the yoshi’s were able to fly and breathe fire. Toad’s got a power-up as well. The toads were given the ability to teleport, and it gave them 50 times their usual strength. With this amazing army of toads and goombas there was no way that yoshi could be beat by the mushroom kingdom.

CHAPTER 1-5: Charge!!!

After months of hard training and preparing for war, yoshi decided that it was finally time to charge at the mushroom kingdom. The next day, one of the toads was sent on a reconnaissance mission to find out what the people of the mushroom kingdom. Toad came back with bad news for yoshi; the mushroom kingdom had sent a spy down here and they knew that Yoshi was building up an army. As soon as they realized this, they formed their own ultra army. “This is going to be tougher than I thought. We can’t waste any more time, lets go!!!” commanded yoshi.

The goombas started marching and everything was going smooth until they reached the coast of the island. Orange yoshi said “I think we forgot about one important thing….We are surrounded by 243 miles of water and the goombas can’t swim” “this is problem” replied yoshi. Yoshi came up with a plan to turn the goombas up side down and float them toward the mushroom kingdom. Many goombas drowned and many others were eaten by giant cheep cheeps but most of the goombas slowly drifted toward the mushroom kingdom.

When Yoshi, goomba and the toad’s arrived in the mushroom kingdom there was nobody around for miles. No goombas or koopas or anyone at all; it was very strange and creepy but the soldiers kept marching toward Peach’s castle. Yoshi was very confident that he was going to crush the mushroom kingdom and exterminate everyone in it.

CHAPTER 1-6: Traitors

When Yoshi was already arriving to Princess’ Peach’s castle there was still nobody around for miles. Yoshi said “They must all be chickens. I guess we might as well just take the castle and get this over with. As soon as he said that millions upon millions of enemy koopas, goombas, and everyone else who lived in the mushroom kingdom came out of hiding and charged at Yoshi and his troops. The koopas were shooting guns and all of the goombas had flamethrowers. From the distance toad’s were throwing bombs and shooting bullet bills.

Yoshi and his troops were forced to retreat; they had nothing else to do. All of the goombas kept up their guard and started slowly retreating back to the hills and mountains. When it seemed like things could not gat any worse Yoshi realized that all of his toads were with the opposing army. A lot of his extra supplies of self-made power-ups were taken by the toads and were given to enemy goombas and toads.

“How could you guys do this to me”, yelled yoshi “you stupid traitors”. “You guys were probably the ones who told everyone that we were coming, I hate you all!!!!”
The toads replied, “Did you really think that we would fight against our own kind, our own country. You pathetic fool; we are loyal to the MUSHROOM kingdom, not to you, Mwa Ha Ha”

CHAPTER 1-7: The battle rages on

While some of yoshis best troops left him and all of the goombas were greatly outnumbered, yoshi was still confident he could win this war because he had a plan. He purposely retreated back to the mountains so that he could have higher ground and a better battle position. When the goombas reached the top of the tall hills, the orange yoshi went along with his battle plan. All of the bullet bill cannons were placed behind rocks so that they could not be destroyed.

But even with all of the cannons and good position, there were just too many enemy troops. The enemies were about to breach the rock barrier that the goombas put up but they did not know that this was not a good move. As soon as they reached the top they were all burned with a continuous line of fire breath from the goombas. Also, when there were enough enemies climbing on the mountain the goombas rolled giant boulders down. The boulders just kept going all the way down the mountains and hills; each boulder killed thousands of enemies.

But there were so many enemies that they just kept on coming up the mountain. Then from out of nowhere, the enemy koopas launched a sneak attack by climbing up and attacking from the other sides of the mountains. The koopas killed a few goombas but the mushrooms kingdom’s success did not last long because the two yoshis quickly ate them, turned them into eggs and threw the eggs at them. All of the koopas were soon gone.

After almost a whole day of battling the number of enemy troops was finally dwindling. But little did Yoshi know that this was going to be the easy part of the war. When all of the goombas were tired Mario and Luigi finally decided to join the battle. They both ate a mega mushroom and charged up the mountain. The goombas threw rocks down at them but it did not work; Mario just threw them back and crushed some of the goombas. The two giant enemies easily made it to the top of the mountain without a scratch on them.

CHAPTER 8: Mario Time

Even with their spiky helmets, the goombas were easily trampled by Mario and Luigi. Thousands of goombas were killed and many others were left unable to fight. It seemed that Mario and Luigi were unstoppable but the goombas were determined; they did not want to get squished anymore, it was time for them to make a stand. All of the goombas charged at Mario together. Many of the goombas sacrificed themselves but for a good cause. All of the goombas started jumping on Marios head; “Let’s see how Mario likes that” said one of the goombas. They kept on jumping on Marios head until he was defeated.

Luigi was even harder to defeat than Mario; for on thing Luigi was taller and harder to jump on and also because Luigi ate a fire flower while he was huge. It was a good thing that Luigi was clumsier and not smart like his brother Mario. Just like with Mario, the goombas all charged straight at luigi from all sides but with his fire powers the goombas could not stomp on him. The goombas thought of a terrific plan. By combining themselves, the goombas formed one giant goomba 20 times the size of Luigi. The goombas shot themselves at Luigi like a ray gun and one by one the goombas pounded Luigi until the goomba monster was no more and Luigi had been destroyed.

This was the proudest day in the history of goombas; the goombas even made it into a national holiday.

Orange yoshi finally regained control of the Goomba’s after they had also defeated Mario and luigi. Commanded by the orange yoshi, the goomba’s were much stronger even though half of them had been killed. The goombas charged in Unison towards thousands of koopas and paratroopas that were still left. The koopas were
defense less and thousands quickly died. It seemed that Yoshi was winning the war.

CHAPTER 9: The tide of the war

During the early stages of the war, Mario, luigi, wario, waluigi and thousands of koopas had been defeated. Princess peach realized that the war was not going well and decided to go to drastic measures. She also let out the heavy artillery, bullet bills were fired by the thousands. Yoshi tried to counter fire with fire by firing his own bombs but he was greatly outnumbered. All of the bullet bills diminished the number of giant goombas to a few thousand.

When Orange Yoshi and his goomba troops ran into the barrage of bullet bills it was pretty scary but the goombas all breathed fire right in front of themselves. Since the bullet bills did not know any better, they all went into the fire and they exploded without doing damage to almost any of the goombas. The goombas marched on and on, defeating anything and everything in their way.

Yoshi was also winning against everyone he came across. Princess Peach tried to stop Yoshi by aiming all of the bullet bills toward him but Yoshi just ate the bullet bills and shot them back toward the castle as eggs. The eggs were quickly destroying the castle and destroying many of the enemy koopas. Yoshi then came across a bunch of lakitus; the lakitus kept throwing spinys at yoshi. The spinys were too spiky to swallow so yoshi had a problem against the Lakitus. He could not eat the lakitus because they flew too fast so Yoshi used his fire breath. All of the lakitu clouds were burned and now the Lakitus could not fly. Yoshi ground pounded on all of them to finish them off forever.
