The permalink is right. If you knew how forums worked it would be easy to understand but here I'll explain it to you. When someone makes a thread the very first post is by the thread creator. Now, when you view that thread without actually clicking it, it's going to say one post less the then there actually is. That is because on the outside of the thread it will not count the thread starters beginning post as a post. But the permalink counts all post that have been made in the thread, and they even count the post made by the thread starter, so it is actually one higher then what it says on the outside of the thread.
So that means this is post number 481.

He got it from me. I accidentally typed 750 instead of 481 when I was typing out all that. I'm doing math homework at the same time, so while doing math I was looking at the number 750 and I kind of just typed it. =\
