Sims games in my opinion are retarded, they take too much time and you dont get any enjoyment or fun out of them, but if you like them, i would say get it for the Wii; because of it's better graphics and easier controls

You're probably finding it boring because it's very non-stereotypical of the games these days. Violence is a prevalent theme among video games ever since it has been introduced.
I find Sims a very vague political statement as one person controlling everyone else has to make fun of something. I usually connect it to the totalitarian regimes of World War Two.

I found this game fun at first. I got up to three-stars. But each commercial sim I move in eventually wanted an essence that I couldn't reach without the tourch. So I just stopped playing.

DON'T get this game

ive played sims before, two actually and both seemed the same and it wasnt that much fun and then i would just play something else.

The question isn't about how good the sims game is. Its about whether he should get a DS or a Wii.

Well the DS has the highest sales figures over all the other consoles. The games are cheap and look great. There are awesome titles for the DS. It's portable, wireless, hackable.

I had the Wii and its fun, for a while. But I would go with a DS for lots of reasons.
