Getting A Ds soon - The Global Nintendo Wi-Fi Community

Im gonna be getting a ds soon ( when i make another $40 anyway)and i was wondering what are 2 good games to start off with? so far i was thinking between

Animal crossing wild world
Pokemon pearl/diamond
The World ends with you
Rune factory: harvest moon
Mario and Luigi partners in time
Pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of time/darkness
Rondo of swords
Tloz-Phantom hourglass

i own Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time. it's a very fun game but i have yet to finish it. i would still recommend buying it though. as for the diamond/pearl pokemon games, my friend let me borrow one of them (forgot which one) and i wasn't a big fan of it (i didn't even get halfway through). i'm a die-hard fan of the originals. there's just too many pokemon and things to do in the newer games for my weak mind to handle. but then again that's my opinion. as for the other games, i've never played so i can't type my mind about them. :b

p.s. i would also recommend Final Fantasy 3 only if you're into that series.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is a MUST have, especially if you are a fan of the Zelda series. It is a great game that will keep you engaged for a long time and has a pretty good Online gameplay. It is probably the best game available on the DS right now.

Other titles I HIGHLY recommend:
Mario Kart DS
Tetris DS
New Super Mario Bros
Professor Layton and the Curious Village

out of the list up there, i would probably recommend pokemon and zelda, but outside of that list i think you should try new super mario bros. it's a good game

Phantom Hourglass is great, same for Diamond and Pearl. I know it isn't on your list, but I would suggest getting Super Mario 64 DS.

Out of the list, I'd reccomend Pokemon Diamond and Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass. 3 more games I'd reccomend are Mario Kart DS, The New Super Mario Bros, and Super Mario 64 DS.

Any of them are great, but if you want something to do with friends, Animal Crossing's for you. It's ok, I guess, but really annoying when the animals talk. God, they shouldn't even have the animals make sounds.

I have played most of those and I have two that if you don't get you shouldn't even bother with a DS, and they are both up there ^_^

1.Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

0.0 that was the best game I have ever gotten for DS
10/10

2.The World Ends With You

Have not bought it yet but I will as soon as possible, made by the makers of Kingdom hearts, enough said

Yep thats why i was gonna get the world ends with you, but i think im gonna hold off on that for awhile, it seems pretty fast paced and iv never played a DS
