the DS is great. The touch screen works amazing in some games like The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

Since the DS Lite is basically the only system I use, I forgot how good it is compared to some of the other Nintendo handhelds. =p I can't make recommendations other than try not to buy the lame movie remakes and stuff like that. Even on a DS those games suck. Most of the ones already mentioned on this thread I completely agree with though. :D

i love the ds lite i have both the old and the lite ds =p um the wifi is what makes it fun like on mph u can voice chat with ur friends and battle with them too, it's really fun once u get the hang of the controls and stuff =)

A PSP is better than a DS because it is a portable and it has Grand Thefe Auto but, Ds doesn't.

ok, im with the rest on this one, there is alot of good games, but some are pretty pathetic and don't represent the DS very well.

if i was too recommend 3 games in order of the best it would be...

1. The legend of zelda : Phantom hourglass (amazing game, i don't think theres a DS owner out there that doesn't have this)

2. Mario party DS (these mini games keep you playing for quite some time)

3. Wario Ware : Touched (some might think i'm crazy, but this is a pretty awsome game with fun minigames)

getting a DS is a very good idea, it is something diffrent, playing games with touch screen is fun, makes a change from hitting buttons all the time.
