Alright guys, I want to thank everyone so far for their concerns, ideas, and opinions about the league ichigo and I are trying to create. We do, however, feel we have enough feedback to justify starting the league, and putting things into motion.

Concerning the rules:

I wrote the rules as a draft of how the league would be set up. This set up is done to ensure that things get done. There will be a set time for races because having just a "pop out of no where" tournament doesn't get anything done. We believe having a set time aids in completing the race process. If people spend too much time trying to coincide with each other, it's just a waste of time.

Secondly, the 9PM EST race time is not final. It was just a time set up to give people an idea how the seasons would work. It does seem, from your posts, that 6PM EST would be a great time to race. Friday seems to be a good day to keep too.

Lastly, I am liking some of the ideas I am seeing about league divisions. I believe it would be hard to start off right away with divisions, but over time, and hopefully over a short period of time, we can change this. Once we get a sound supply of dedicated racers, and established teams, divisions would be easy to set up.

So, thank you everyone for your contributions. Keep posting your ideas and comments. Be on the look out for sign ups. For out first season, follow the rules exactly, except for the time. I believe we will change it to 6PM EST. Sign ups should begin on Monday.

For one, make sure you've considered the Australians (as far as I've guessed codes starting with 0 are Austrialian and hence a good 14-18 hours or so ahead of North America so if you want to exclude them say so, or else maybe make it at a better time for them?

Secondly, I'm in the PST timezone, and although I'm available all the time right now as I'm working online, working people, or school people may have a problem with 6pm EST/3pm PST. Maybe switch that to Saturday as everyone tends to be free on Saturdays (in general).

Take a look at timezones and stuff and see if we can't make it so North America it's at nightish and Australia it's morningish and it's over the weekend so the majority of people don't work or go to school.

In any case, I'm totally in for the time being it's good to see the changes. I was afraid that bladekuku and I were the only people trying to race in our group :P

I'd recommend have a "any timeslot" for people like me who are always available so we can fill holes for people who have more restricted time schedules. But as long as I get in, I'm happy ... don't want all this typing to be for nothing! Plus I've never had Wii Points before and was looking forward to what I could randomly buy :P
