Rumors have it that Super Mario Kart Wii will be one of global releases for Nintendo yet. Rather this is true or not, it'll be a huge favor to itself if it happens...

Never trust what Gamestop/EBgames says as a release day, they are usually always wrong and they just pick a reasonable date so that they can get people to reserve it early with them instead of waiting till the actual release date is announced and reserving it at other stores. I will bet everything I own that MKWii is not released on April 2nd, if it was that soon, Nintendo would have announced it already.

Agreed. Nintendo honestly would have announced such a thing.

Anyway, look at it like this - stores just want to sell you anything they can; that's how they make money. As well, if I owned a store, I would do anything I could legally to sell you whatever it was I sold. But, of course we are all smarter than that, and we can identify things like this.

Anyway, I think I will just order mine online from a retailer I know of privately. He owns a Wal-Mart, so he can get me a copy before anyone else, the day of release.
