Wii is "Adult Friendly"

This is one of the most surprising articles I have ever written, and amazed me when I first saw it. Nintendo staff may be banning any Web search that isn’t “Nintendo related,” on Wiis Opera Web Browser. Weeks ago, as a member of Nintendo’s staff was browsing the Opera Browser to make any corrections or fix any tweaks in the Opera system, he came across an adult site that said on the Google link, “Wii Friendly.” The worker immediately ran it by the Administrator of Opera and Nintendo and it was true, the site actually was interactive with your Wii Remote.

Now, I am not going to go into detail on what all you could do, but I am pretty sure you have the idea. Nintendo announced that they are in debate on whether or not to keep Opera Browser unlocked to any site on the Web, or to lock it, restricting access to any website that is not Nintendo related.

The site, however, did not get off so easy. Without the consent of Nintendo, they were illegally running a project and could possibly be sued, putting the site off the internet. As for Nintendo, they hope to keep this secret, and hopefully not change the sales of the Wii.

I personally, do not think they should have a lock on the browser. Having an Internet Browser that has locks on it is like getting on the Internet at school, pointless and a waste of time. For people that use Opera Web Browser, cross your fingers…

This would just make me lose a lot of respect for Nintendo. The browser was meant to visit the Internet, not view Nintendo game info.

They better not...I paid for it with my own wii points... that would be quite rude if they did since that's what a "web browser" does.. browses the web... I for one would lose a lot of respect for Nintendo if they did do this.

Its not for certain, but the people at Nintendo were very furious on the findings of this site. The bad thing is, is that the site had affiliates that were running the same program, so it was about to build up. But I will keep you all updated for those that use the Wii.
