Wii Wheel To Be Sold Separately

Many people were looking forward to having the Mario Kart Wii Wheel to be sold with the game. However, Nintendo has decided to sell it separately. If you really want to get your hands on one of them, you are going to need to pay a little extra. I personally think that it was a bad decision for Nintendo. My brother stopped by at our local Gamestop a few days ago and found out some good news. The cashier said that if you pre-order Mario Kart Wii, you will get a free Wii Wheel. So you should stop by at your local Gamestop, to see what they have in store for you.

Well, if you get a wheel with the pre-order of the game, I have nothing to worry about, seeing as I do plan on pre-ordering. Is Gamestop letting you pre-order the game yet? If so I should pre-order it today when I drop by to pick up my GH3 Guitar.
Actually, from a business standpoint, Nintendo found a way to get more people to pre-order and a way to make more money by selling it separately. Not good for gamers, but good for Nintendo I suppose.

If I wasn't going to pre-order the game, I'd say screw the wheel then. I want to know what was Nintendo thinking. Have they really become greedy bastards?

All the more reason to pre-order MKW I suppose. But it would help to buy the Wii Wheel seprate. For those who weren't going to use the wheel in the first place they don't have to worry about getting it as a bonus. Plus the more money for Nintendo the more advanced & incredible things we can start seeing from from them. But I can see how some people don't want to pay extra for the wheel.

the wheel is only a plastic case. It has no electronics in it at all! Thus, it should be around $5. It will probably sell around the upper end of $10-$15 which is completely not worth it. So if you are preordering, good for you, you will be ok with the wheel. but you will get screwed by the Big N if you want a wheel and don't preorder.

Also, I was going to wait for a review (though I was likely to still get the game) because I want to have the online be free. Which if it isn't, I won't be getting this game, so no wheel for me!

I'm not going to buy Mario Kart Wii anyway, but doesn't it seem that Nintendo is really really money hungry all of a suden. I think that all the Wii sales are getting to there heads. Bumber for those that wern't going to preorder, yea for Gamestop though, good job guys paying attention to the gamer.

If it's cheap then I might get the wheel. Sucks that It's not packed in with the game though.
