Mario Kart Wii launches in North America today!
Ready. Set. GO!!!
From when Mario Kart Wii was first revealed at E3 2007, we were all anxious to play it. We all wanted to play online with the Wii Wheel, and go on a road rage against other racers. Well today, your road rage shall begin, because Mario Kart Wii has been launched in North America!
Mario Kart Wii is bundled with the Wii Wheel, giving new comers a better 'control' to the game, and hopefully easing out to become a master Mario Kart veteran. You could also use the Gamecube controller, the Classic controller, and the Wii remote and Nunchuk. I for one find that the Gamecube controller is the easiest control method to use.
Within the game, you get the basic 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc Grand Prix. For the first time in the Mario Kart franchise, you get the option to use Motorcycles! Along with Grand Prix, you get the standard Multiplayer option for where you can play up to four players locally, OR, you can play up to eleven players on the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service. You can play either race, or battle.
I can't say all the details within Mario Kart Wii, but everything about the game is incredibly enjoyable. I hope you all consider picking up Mario Kart Wii!
Hope to see you on the race tracks!
