Microsoft may be making a motion sensitive controller for the Xbox360 that will be released by the end of the year, says sources. Apparently, this project has been in development since the summer of 2007. MTV cites an anonymous developer who claims that this motion sensitive controller will also have its own Mii-like avatar system with the input...

I don't think Microsoft will be able to do this. I mean it is an exact copy of Nintendo's Wii Remote.

I would give 2 thumbs down for this idea. I think Microsoft gamers would much rather have a controller than rip off of the Wii-Mote. If they do get away with it, they may lose the microsoft gamers.

Well at least Microsoft now knows that Nintendo was on to something with the Wii-Mote.
But either way, it's a pretty blatant rip off.

Well if you think about it Microsoft is the only console this gen without some sort of Motion Sensing...If they want to be able to compete and perhaps beat out the Wii they're going to NEED motion sensing.

There is one thing that makes me wonder there. There is this video that compares microsoft's vista to apple's mac os X and vista copied the heck out of mac and I think they might do it with nintendo too. Unless they sue...
