According to Nintendo Wii Fanboy a new Wii ware game has been announced, entitled Eternity's Child. The title, being created by Luc Bernard, is an extremely quirky platformer using extremely detailed 2D artwork. Originally slated as an XBOX Live Arcade game, the idea was scrapped because of space limitations provided by Microsoft. Now it seems to be headed for Wii Ware, which is odd considering that Nintendo's space limitations are smaller than Microsoft's, so it will be interesting to see how the game turns out.

Eternity's Child will be released on the Virtual Console in Q2 of 2008 for the mere price of $5 (500 Wii Points, I'm assuming). Hopefully the game turns out well, and maybe even spawn a series!
