Recently Nintendo has announced a multitude of games that will hit the Wii before the year's end. This list is my choice of the top 25 games that will hit the Wii by 2008. I don't know anything about Kirby, but here are the top 3 games coming to the Wii before 2008.

3. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption


Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is one of the most anticipated games for Metroid fans. The game features superior controls than any other Wii Shooter game, along with some great visuals. The game is said to be the best of the Metroid franchise, and the game looks like it is a must buy for most Wii owners.

2. Super Smash Bros. Brawl


Merely the name alone is enough to make this game a must buy, but if I just said that than this wouldn’t be a very good article. This is the third installment in the Smash Bros. Series and is shaping up to be the best one. Super Smash Bros. Brawl features many different and new levels, items, and characters. The game also features online play, which is a first in the series and promises to be one of the best features of this game. The game also features an adventure mode and promises to be a great buy for all Wii owners.


Along with the new characters (Pit, Wario, Zero Suit Samus, Ike, Pokemon Trainer, Diddy Kong, Snake, and possibly more to come), every character has been given new and upgraded special moves. Also each character now has a Final Smash, so even if you have mastered the characters in the previous Smash Bros. there is still something new to discover about everyone.

1. Super Mario Galaxy


Most people see Super Mario Galaxy as the true sequel to Mario 64, and with the new innovative Wii-mote Mario will be able to do more moves and jumps than ever before. Along with the fact that since Mario is in space he will be able to do mind-bending jumps due to the lack of gravity. However not many details are given out on this game by Nintendo, but if this game proves to be just as good as Mario 64 it will be one of the best games for the Wii, and a must buy for all Wii owners. Also Super Mario Galaxy has been confirmed to be mulitplayer. Multiplayer mode so far has said to consist of one player controlling Mario and the pointer, and the second player controls another pointer which will aid Mario.


Now many people have been speculating which game will be number 1 on this thread, and many said Super Smash Bros. Brawl. However the number 1 spot has gone to Super Mario Galaxy, and my reason why is that Galaxy is promising to give us everything that we loved in previous Mario games and add more. Also Mario adventure games always prove to give hours of addictive non-stop gameplay, along with the fact that you can play a Mario game many times over again. Without a doubt in my mind, this game is a must have for any Wii owner.

Well this is the end of my top 25 games to hit the Wii before 2008, and tomorrow I will be using one of these games in my hype of the week column. It is a game that will be coming out soon, and may not be that well known but could prove to be really enjoyable.

Ha ha ha! I knew it My list was right! Granted it was mixed around I sitll got the top 3 games.

My list was

3.) Metriod Prime 3: Corruption (Still in the same spot).
2.) Super Mario Galaxy
1.) Super Smash Bros Brawl (switched)

Sorry while I do think Brawl has more replay value than Galaxy, I still think Galaxy will have more depth in storyline and gameplay.

I do agree with you, Brawl is mainly just fighting and Mario Galaxy has an actual story to it.

But it was tough to choose which one should be number one, they are both such great games. Also with all the improvements done to smash bros., it made the decision really hard.

Lol I feel your pain, though I still think Smash Bros is my number one game.

Heh, yeah. That one was me, But I almost got hte list right, just the two switched around.

Pretty good results but if wi-fi is confirmed for brawl an edit is required XD jk.Those 3 games are the big 3. :P
