Nintendo Facing Yet Another Lawsuit?

I can't say Nintendo was too pleased with the results from the last lawsuit they faced against Anascape. Let's hope this one doesn't turn out the same way, as this time HillCrest Labs is targeting our beloved Wii Remote!

The filings are also placing interest on, "a navigation interface display system that graphically organizes content for display on a television."

HillCrest Labs claims that it is filing the lawsuit with, "a great deal of respect for Nintendo and the Wii."

Nintendo has not yet commented on this affair.

That's just bull. Why are these companies trying to sue nintendo for? Those punks just wanna ruin everyones fun.

At least this case cant have the same result as Anascape's law suit. If wiimotes were banned from US shelves, that wont make any sense and would make nintendo's buisiness drop.

If they had to stop making Wii Remotes then Nintendo would have to use what money it has to make other controllers or even a new system all together.

That would lead to a problem if they had too, unless they made the system read the original wii and gamecube disk, they would have to make the games all over again.

All they would have to do it change the controller and something inside the Wii that sensor bar and thats it, they don't have to change EVERY game if they made a new system anyway.

Yeah. I have to agree with the people that think that this is in fact a other stupid lawsuit just like the other one. Like TehLink said in a podcast one time said kind of. The Wii has been for a pretty long time already & now this is happening. Plus, if Nintendo loses this. We will have pretty much no controllers to buy here. That will be a shame for the people here from the USA that haven't got a Wii yet can't any controllers.
