Wii Games Galore!

The time has come for new releases for the Wii! Nintendo has revealed that they will be remaking Gamecube games for the Wii. Nintendo calls it their "Play On Wii" brand. The remade games will consist of Chibi Robo, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Mario Tennis, Pikmin, and Pikmin 2.

The Big N has also announced that the new Pikmin for the Wii will be not be just a remake, but a totally new game. Pikmin 3 is expected to release sometime next year.

Well, I love this concept and I'm quite excited for the releases of the Pikmin and Metroid games. Can't wait to play these fantastic games on the Wii.

Donkey Kong jungle beat and the other one needs to be on the Wii and so does Metriod but I'm not completely sure on Mario Tennis mainly because I hoping for a new one not a remake. I'm just hoping for more characters in MT but I don't want them to touch ANYTHING else or I'm going to be a sad, sad man...

there remakeing them games that can already be played on the wii,but "with" the wii to make more money

I think they should put pikmin 1 and 2 on the same disk and sell it for $30, then I would probably pick it up lol.

I hope its not a f**k up, but I would go out and buy the pikmin games, as long as tehy introduce more pikmin and maybe more pikmin available to use at a time, maybe like 200 or a thousand?(I know hard to do it on wii but maybe like 1000 pikmin for a xbox360 and maybe like 2000 for a ps3, face it the wiii's hardware,not gameplay, is uncomparable to the hd capable compatible. Wiii's only 480 and thats not near full hd at all)

I'm really failing to see how the wii's lack of hd capabilities affects the number of pikmin you can control in any way....
