It was announced today that THQ is currently working on a game called All-Star Cheerleading for the Wii. That's right...cheerleading. Very few details have been made available but it was announced that it will be a game that will use the Balance Board that is being released with Wii Fit in May.

Seriously, a cheerleading game? Man I wonder if it comes bundled with pompoms and a cheerleader uniform

yea finally i can be a male cheerleader! my mom said i couldn't sign up because i am guy and she said i would be a fruit. so i didn't but yes now i can play some cheerleading!

Is this what nintendo is lowering too im am serously thinking of switching to the 360 now(ps3 to expenisve)anyways but yea the only good games IMO coming out is Animal crossing wii MKWii SSBB and some others

Wow, well I wouldn't go that far haha, I would probably play this game before I would ever pick up Superman 64 again (if any actually exist anymore). I actually see this game being pretty popular as I see a lot of young girls who want to be cheerleaders buying to practice with. Besides remember it is a third party game, so Nintendo is not actually making it.

what the......It will sell enough....but it won't be successful..And you can't sell out of wii now, you have waited this long for the brawl and more time to come, and now its almost here!! One of either SSBB of MKWii will make you love your wii again!

Well remember this game was just announced, so the earliest it would be out would be this Summer when there will be no good games that we know of out, but realistically it will not be out till this Fall/Winter...and again no good games planned. That is what is scary as all of Nintendo's big first party title games are coming out soon and there are no other ones scheduled for the rest of the year and, unless it is first party game, then the game has a great chance at failing on Nintendo.

Ok this a 2month delayed reply but I'm thinking of the game Ouendan becuase of this. (Ouendan is the original EBA in Japan and they weren't gov't agents but rather male cheerleaders)
