Hello everyone,

I just joined this forum looking for a news about the Wii Fit and I can't find anything! Either I wasn't searching for it properly (even though I have used the search facility one or two times in my online life) or no one is excited!

Is this forum US based? I live in London and the Wii Fit is launched today! I left it too late to pre-order but I managed to get one today from *link removed* so fingers-crossed it will be here tomorrow.

Has anyone got one yet? If so, what's it like?

Lost any weight yet? ;)

To answer your questions, We are mostly based in North America, Meaning all of Canada, United States, Mexico. And we do have people here from the UK, Austrailia etc.

We have to wait until Mid-May before Wii Fit arrives over on our North American soil.

You are quite new so of course I won't penalize you but links that advertise buying isn't allowed here, just to clarify you aren't in trouble.

Was I searching wrong? I couldn't find anything on the Wii Fit on the whole forum.

I didn't mean to do anything wrong when I included that link - it's been so hard to get hold of a Wii Fit in London and I thought it might help someone out that's all.

Are you going to buy the Wii Fit? What do you think about it?

Don't concern yourself over it, but I would advise you to read all the forum rules around here to familiarize yourself with everything so you wouldn't get into trouble in the future. And it would save quite the hassle heh.

I perfectly understand what your intention was in providing the link and that is kind of you too but we've had complications in the past which is why we implemented advertising sites that involve selling items etc.

Also I do plan on getting Wii Fit when it arrives here in Canada, but not for some time. I need to keep my money saved up as bills and school and food are more important than games currently

If Wii Fit was 50, maybe 60 dollars and there was an SSX title in development that would use the balance board, I'd get it. However, I don't think I will because I'm active enough in real life with baseball in the summer and basketball year round, I don't think it would give me more of a workout than actual sports.

yea I think the current price of $89 is a bit too steep for me. They are releasing a Skii game along side it for $29 extra I think. Supposedly the WiiFit board isn't too good at being a trustworthy controller. Plus without any games out to take advantage of it... I just can't see it being a good investment right now.

Although I heard you can buy just the WiiFit Board for like $60 or something (but without a game its useless)

I'm gonna hang onto my money and see where it goes. Spending $90 on a peripheral that only 4 games can use, to me, is a waste.

I dunno.

I actually think its worth it.Its a fun way to excersize and maybe lose a couple of pounds.Plus, you get a gameboard with it.

Plus, other games will probably coming out in the future with/for the baseboard. I already know their making a Wario Ware type game for it.I think Wario is in too. So it will be practically like Warioware, but you can use you're hands and your feet.

I think that will be cool, and I think the balance board might even revolutionize gameplay for the Wii.=D

Wii fit comes out tommarow in the US I think. I'm probably not going to get it right away though due to the price.

Wii fit looks like the perfect amount of excersise for me since I get stuck inside a lot due to an illness I have I can't excersise much and I had to give up sports too. I really don't need to lose weight actually I'm a little underweight but it just looks like good excersise.

too expensive right now. Maybe if they come out with some games that incorporate the board really well I'll go pick it up.

Yea it is released now. It got a 8 or something around there from IGN. Not high enough for the price tag if you ask me. Anybody with the games should post impressions!
