Donkey Kong has to be the most unappreciated character ever- In my humble opinion of course. He is tied in running speed with Toon Link, he is the second heaviest character, his attack speed is decent, and he is extremely powerful. I realize that some of his moves leave him vulnerable, but the same can be said for Ike, who many consider the best character in Brawl.

i really like DK, i only use him cause my friend liked using him but now its just fun to use DK, i don't know why no one uses him but i don't care either, makes me look better for using a character no one cares about and winning with him

I don't like his recovery....It is too short for me, because I am not a great player, so I get beat around quite a bit. Just not my cup of tea.

His recovery is pretty bad (easily gimpable), he's a really big target, no projectiles, can't jump too high, and his attacks are a little more on the slow side.
But those are only the bad parts. Dk is a pretty well rounded character, even if I don't like him too much.

Ike best character? hahaha

But seriously, I kinda like playing DK every once and a while even though he's not one of the better characters in the game. I would say he isn't underrated, he just isn't that good because hardly anyone cares enough about him to get good with him.

DK was always fun to play with in Kart only thing that i hated was when i screwed up the quick start! grrrr

HOW DARE YOU! I'm awesome with Ike he's my top character.

But besides that, He is decent, it's just that I'm not very good with him. I only used him to get the 75m stage or when I play a random character battle.

DK can be better then Ike, 2 meteors and amazing grab moves
plus a charge up knock out move. the ONLY problem with DK is that his recovery doesn't do anything if you fell off and are really low... trust me, i know -__-
