Online as in the internet browser? To use the internet browser you have to download it for $5 in the wii shop.

I'd like to add also, that if it says it has Wi-Fi on the official box art and it does not, Nintendo would be breaking the law. As it is considered false advertisement.

Plain and simple Nintendo would not do such a thing.

Again it HAS to be Wi-Fi if it has the logo, what game is it? Also you do understand Wi-Fi doesn't always mean battling others, trading etc. Wi-Fi also means just leader boards, or things you can send for your score, and you don't battle others.
