Nunchuk acting up

I just turned on brawl, still upset that I don't get MKWii untill wednesday, and when I got to the screen with group, solo, wifi, etc my nunchuck was scrolling through the options without me pressing any buttons. I tried moving the analog stick, and it would stop, but then I'd let go and it would start scrolling again. I unplugged the nunchuk and then plugged it back in and it worked fine. Should I be worried?

not for now, but eventually it will bug out and you'll have to get a new one... it will still be usable for a while, not sure how long, maybe a month, maybe a year... but eventually it will break.

That happened to me on the Gamecube alot, and it's not really a big deal. If you take good care of it I don't think anything would "bug out", but I'm not too knowledgable on this stuff.

I agree with Kirbypunk, its happened to my GC controller, and it still works very well.

You MAY wanna get it looked at or send it in, my GC controller did the same thing and like most others i unplugged replugged and ignored it. Now when i plug it in it just vibrates and you cant use it

Don't worry about it. My camecube and N64 one's do that and they still work fine.

Actually, interesting you'd bring this up.

My Classic Control, and Nunchuck all do the same thing.

I do the same fix you do and they work fine.

It's pretty odd but I have experenced it in almost all the Nintendo Consoles I've owned.
