Ive heard of a USB addon to the Wii that allows you to plug it directly into your network instead of using the wireless signal. Does this help relieve the massive lag of online play?

it prolly will. it takes off the strain of having to find and pick up the signal.
but if you have a router like i do, you dont need to worry about it

A wireless router would probably be better than a USB connector.

I think that a wireless router is better because you can probably pick up signals better and get farther range to verse more people.:P

I would agree that Wireless is better, expect my piece of router has the tendency to disconnect from my modem. Now it has never happened while I was on Wi-Fi (yet) but it is a pain because then I have to reconnect my modem and router all over again
