They do, I've seen screenshots, that prove it, motorbikes dont have snaking but they have wheelies, and thats just as helpful, maybe even more...

Well, a wheelie as you can see in the fall conference vid. helps you go really fast, Mario is seen doing one and he goes from 12th place to like 6th or something like that..

lol yea probably you will be able to use the classic controller because i can imagine how hard it would be drivin with the regular control
