Possibly, because of YIDS(Yoshi's Island DS) But, I would like to see Geno, even though I know the possibility is slim to none.

Geno has no chnace because he is not a mario guy. unlike brawl, mario kart wii has only mario series characters.
Goomba has been a mario series character since the beggining, therefore he will be MKW

Goomba is an obstacle in one of the races, so I don't see him being a playable character. However, stranger things have happened.

Mario Kart is a first and only mario character franchise for only Nintendo. Geno is second party, he is therefore excluded.

Not to disrespect you, but do you have any proof of that? I'd love to see him in there, but I find it slightly hard to believe that he was a playable character at one time.
