I know what you guys must be thinking, but I did a little research, and hopefully, it's right.

I found this at Joystiq.com, I know, not a very reliable and trustworthy site, but just take a look at it.

We needn't remind you that Twilight Princess is a GameCube game and a Wii game that crosses over from both consoles. While no doubt a key asset to the Wii launch, Twilight Princess is not the biggest Zelda game for the new platform. Rest assured Nintendo has been working on 'that' particular Zelda entry since the moment the Wii concept was birthed. That's not to say we expect a true Wii Zelda before late 2008/early 2009. Remember, Metroid and Mario are holding it down in '07.


If it was to be true, i can't wait.. we are already a quarter of the year into it.. So it wouldn't be that long to go.

Hopefully its right, and I know it's not reliable info, but just hope.

This is true, thats not the only site that says this, of course its all speculation at this point, but obviously they must be working on a new title. Nintendo wouldn't just forget about one of its greatest franchises for the Wii.

Yw. And I know as a zelda fan since i was 4, that this can't be it, Nintendo can do MUCH, MUCH BETTER. this looks like it's been done in a program, i remember it..it converts games. I forgot what it's called, i'll look later.

I guess a new Zelda would be nice. Zelda isn't my favorite franchise but i won't ask nintendo to make another Yoshi game because they havent taken yoshi in the right direction since Yoshi's Island. I really liked Twilight Princess even though i only got as far as the water tunic. It takes me some time to get into Zelda.

Yeah I am pretty sure i heard someone from Nintendo confirming a new Zelda for the Wii, but no date given. I wouldn't expect it to hit the shelves as early as this year. But so far it looks like i was wrong on predicting when Mario kart was gonna hit the shelves so anything is possible.

I remember reading it somewhere, but Miyamoto has stated that the new Zelda game will be all new and revamped :P Hopefully its going to be sweet.
