Super Mario Sunshine (Gamecube) on Wii?

Hi -

New to this board, and the Wii.
Recently received SuperMario Sunshine for the GameCube.

It seems to load, but we can't get any response from the unit using the Wii Remote Controller.

Does anyone know
1) if this is playable on the Wii at all?
2a) if so, playable with the Wii Remote Controller
2b) if so, does it require an alternate remote (e.g. - the Wii Classic Controller)?

yeah, you can play it on the wii but you can't use the wiimote. You need to use a gamecube controller.

Yeah, you need a Gamecube controller to play ANY gamecube game, even if you play it through Wii.

as they said u can play em with the GC controllers n i also think the classic... but not so sure

You can ONLY use the gamecube controller. Classic controllers aren't compatible.
