I really want to buy a wii but here are some problems.

Can you use a normal controller for wii games I just don’t think I will like using a remote to play wii games or even a wheel…for Mario kart?
If no why didnt they make a controller for the wii, for people that might not like remotes.

Do you need lots of friends to have a wii.

Apparently the wii is really hard to play.

I have never had any other Nintendo’s consoles so would all n64 and GameCube games be available through the wii to download.

Also is the internet really bad on the wii.

you can use a gamecube controller for the Wii for SOME games but you most definetantly can use it for mario kart

for some games you do need friends online to play a game (brawl, mario kart) but thats
why this site exists

the wii is not so hard to play, most easy to use out of the top 3 systems out
(PS3, 360, Wii) but less things you can do with it

you can download ALOT of old nintendo AND old systems old games (sega systems)
but you can't download gamecube games with the Wii but it does play gamecube games,
you just have to buy them yourself if you want that is

and the online for the wii is ok, not much you can do with it but at least its free right?

you can use your game cube controllar
and if u don't have on there like 10$ used

not really,there is not only online,but some great 1 player games

game cube you can put the GC disc in the wii and play it off of that
and yes, some n64 games are for download

it's good for youtube videos and such xD

for brawl,yes
but mario kart
is a differnt story completely

Basically what foxboss and Chem Kirby said, but both forgot to mention the Classic Controller, which csan be hooked up to the Wii Remote and used like any other controller, it's also extremely helpful for downloadable VC games.

the reason i didn't mention that is cuz its like another 30 bucks?
plus then you hafta keep useing batterys...
but if u don't like the game cube controlar,it's a good alternitive!

Yes Gamecube and Classic for MK
Wii is easy and fun to play after a week max.
Gamecube you cna buy and they still work. To pay money you can buy games from the 64
You do not need a lot of friends becuse they have random matches online
WiFi does suck, it's 3/3 against the XBox and PS#

Kart is actually very good when it comes to online, and I heard Medal of Honour 2 is also very good for online. The rest is rubbish when it comes to battle-ish games. Endless Ocean's online is supposed to be simple if you want to relax.
